A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I’ve been photographing families since 2011, over a decade! I was honored to teach for Professional Photographers of America in 2024 and share my knowledge and passion with a room full of photographers from all over Florida. Photography and portrait design is just what I love to do and I was lucky to discover this passion after becoming a mom. I graduated from Ohio State University as an International Business major and now I use my love of business and love of photography in the most fulfilling way I know how. The true importance of what I do really hit home when I lost my dad in 2017. Every time I go out on the beach with my families, the relevance of what we are doing is not lost on me.

I opened my downtown Naples portrait studio in late 2022 and have evolved from beach to studio photography, something I have always enjoyed shooting but never had the proper space. Portraits hanging on a wall are what I love the most. As you look through my website, you will see many beautiful images, but the real treasure in them is what hangs in the homes of these clients after we shoot. Digital files are not something tangible, but fine art pieces are. I am extremely passionate about my work, and clients who book with me share this vision.

In 2024 I started a new venture, The Portrait Coterie, as a way of reaching homes outside of Naples and touching them with beautiful, heirloom quality framed prints. My aim was to provide the Interior Design world and upscale homes with beautiful, museum quality frame portraits just like those I have been installing in client homes for years. Aside from photography I love to paint and to travel, a great evening out for me would be dinner on 3rd or 5th and visiting our local galleries. I fully support the tireless efforts of the SWFL Conservancy and Captains for Clean Water to preserve our local waterways and estuaries, my husband and I spend a lot of time attending events during Season that support these organizations and those that benefit our community and the local environment. I have two ornery pugs and three kids who keep me running all over town.

These days, living in a beautiful destination town allows me to be on the beach every week, shooting against the most amazing backdrop and skies. I believe photographs are so important, they tell a family’s story, and they will be there long after the memories fade. Nothing is as rewarding as seeing the finished product and knowing that a little piece of my artistry will bring joy to my clients for years to come.
