Fun fact, from 2011 when I first started until 2015 when we moved to Florida, I was mostly a newborn and maternity photographer in Columbus, Ohio. When I moved here in 2015 I knew I was not going back to 3 hour posed newborn sessions and I fell in love with the beach, the glow of the sunset, all of it. You can still catch glimpses of those posed studio days though, albeit in front of this amazing backdrop.

At long last, today is the day. Ground breaking for the NEW Naples Pier officially happened this morning and after waiting for years since Ian we are finally going to get our new pier 🎉

While I`m not sure when the old pier will officially be out of commission for shoots, (will just have to keep tabs on progress), it`s safe to say that Jake could have been my very last senior to stand underneath of it on his senior session. I will miss this view in the meantime, but congrats to Jake, Class of 2026 as he waits on his acceptance letters.
