A 50th Anniversary on Vanderbilt Beach

There are some places that hold a lifetime of memories, and for this family, Vanderbilt Beach is one of them. They traveled in from Tennessee this season to celebrate a milestone worth every mile, a 50th anniversary, surrounded by the children and grandchildren who have grown up right alongside their love story.

We met in the golden light of the evening, right in front of the building they have been coming to since the 1980s. That kind of history makes a location feel like home, and you could sense it the moment everyone stepped onto the sand. This was not a first trip or an unfamiliar shoreline; it was their place, the backdrop to decades of summers, holidays, and family traditions. My very favorite sessions are the ones where a family forgets the camera is even there and simply enjoys being together.

To hold onto it all, we designed a beautiful heirloom album, a place for every laugh and every moment from the evening to live together in one keepsake. Fifty years is a story worth telling on more than a phone screen, and an album lets this family turn the pages and feel that night on the beach again and again.

If your family has a place you return to year after year, or a milestone on the horizon worth celebrating, I would love to help you remember it. Whether you live here or are visiting for something special, the beaches of Naples have a way of making these moments feel timeless, and as your Naples family photographer, there is nothing I love more than turning them into something you can hold.
