I have to circle back to this one 💍 A surprise proposal at Talis Park, followed by the most beautiful shoot to capture all the feelings these two were having right after. I could shoot here all day long.
The Surprise on the Green
He planned the whole thing out on the green, and her reaction was everything. There is nothing like photographing that split second when someone realizes what is happening. Real, unscripted, and so full of joy.
Then We Kept the Magic Going
Right after she said yes, we slipped into an engagement session while the excitement was still fresh. Those are my favorite images to make. The happy tears, the disbelief, the way they could not stop looking at each other. Talis Park gave us gorgeous light and a setting to match the moment. The most special thing about the entire night was that these two got engaged in the place they took their high school prom photos – how sweet is that? I loved being able to shoot something so meaningful.
