Newborn Photography {Brecklyn 8 Days New}

A tiny baby girl came to see me last week, brand new at just 8 days. I really enjoyed  getting to know her sweet Grandma and mom as I worked, she was so good for her session it made my job easy. If you are considering a newborn photography session this Winter, please remember to contact me while you are still expecting to ensure we are able to schedule your session during those first twelve days of life, the ideal time frame for photographing your new baby. Why is that the ideal time, well that is when new babies sleep the most and their bodies are still used to being curled up, once they are close to the two week mark and beyond they are no longer as easy to work with and posing becomes more of a challenge. If a client does have an older newborn baby and wants a newborn session, my suggestion is to consider a Lifestyle session in the home or outdoors, or in other words a session focused more on candid moments that are done in a more photo journalistic style. Either way, you are sure to capture beautiful memories of a time that can never be replicated.
