What to Wear at the Beach! | My personal style board for our beach session

Soooo planning for my own session is something I obsess about just a tiny bit. I have never made a style board, but this year I was having trouble envisioning everything together so I gave it a shot. I’ve noticed a lot of formal sessions lately popping up in my newsfeed and thought that was definitely the way I wanted to go with our three kids. Glamorous but still barefoot and fun. Here’s what I came up with, I love the soft color palette which coordinates with my decor (planning ahead for wall portraits). I found an amazing store called Boutique 1861 out of Canada when I was browsing for my dress and was almost overwhelmed at all the gorgeous options, this place definitely has the goods for both maternity sessions as well as family sessions. The girls dresses are Tutu Du Monde, if they are a bit pricey consider renting them (yes, you can rent high end girls clothing for as little as a few days). My sons overalls are Janie and Jack and hubby’s are from Banana Republic. I think the important thing to decide when planning outfits is your color palette, and then you can start to fill in the blanks. Feel free to pin it and consider something a little different this year for your family’s Naples beach session.
