I love it when my clients ask for a Lifestyle session. These photos of this little guy in his nursery document his six month milestone and capture him just as is everyday. These moments are just as precious as the ones we capture in studio, or outdoors in a more traditional setting.
I encourage you to choose your session type and your photographer based on what speaks to you most. I know I often get emails from people looking for a photographer and the first thing they ask about is cost. For just a moment, I would encourage you to forget about price and look, really look, at the work of the photographers you are considering. Who speaks to you? Who is capturing images that you love, that you would love to have replicated of your little one? Remember, years from now these photos will be in the hands of future generations. Your grand children could be looking at these one day with their kids. What do you want them to see? I know what that answer is for me, and I shoot with that in mind, conveying my unique vision in each session.
