Next to your wedding day, your newborn session is probably the most important photo session you will book.
I wish I could sit down and talk to every mother out there looking for a newborn photographer. There is so much to consider, and when you are a new mom, knowing what to look for and what to ask can be a daunting task. First of all, newborn sessions need to be booked in advance because it is important that they take place before the baby gets too big to pose (if a posed session is what you are after). Its also so important you research and find someone who knows what they are doing, working with tiny babies is an art, and carefully trained hands need to do the job. I am lucky to have trained over the years with some amazing teachers and that knowledge came with a lot of practice and photographing lots and lots of babies over the years.
I love working with newborns, and I especially love seeing the finished product because I know it is going to be treasured for years by the families I work with. Last week I got to work with this sweet little one, such a beautiful baby and his mamas third and final, but the very first to have his newborn photos taken. So glad to be a part of his beautiful session.
