I’ve got some exciting things in store for 2013, I wanted to officially make note of them on the blog (in case anyone actually reads what I’m writing on here, I am not entirely sure haha). If you check out the Investment tab in the menu you will see a few new session types have popped up. For starters, this year I am now offering an outdoor newborn session that is going to be a break from the indoor, posed images you have seen on here in the past. Last summer I had the pleasure of photographing my good friend and fellow photographer Stacy with her little one. These images are some of my all time favorite, we had the perfect day, the perfect location and it didn’t matter if our little subject wanted to sleep or stay awake. I hope that some of you take advantage of this session type this summer, I truly believe these will be some of the most cherished images I ever capture given they will be focused on family, mother, and child. An added bonus is that we will be able to do the sessions in less than half the time of a traditional posed in home session.
The last announcement I am excited to make is the addition of my home studio, it’s not much but I now have a dedicated space for my traditional newborn sessions that are going to make it a little easier to get started since I can now set up the night before. A lot of my time on in-home sessions is spent packing my car, unpacking at my clients home and setting up. I am going to offer a discounted session fee for those clients traveling to me this year.
