I love outdoor maternity sessions, especially those when a couple can celebrate their excitement of their upcoming arrival together. There is something so special about the time before your new baby arrives, nothing can quite compare to the excitement of waiting to hold them and knowing it is just around the corner. I photographed this couple at Jeffrey Mansion just before my own maternity leave, it has to be one of the most beautiful locations here in Columbus. I really love that Mama-to-Be is a teacher and brought her favorite stories along, soon to be read to her little man at bedtime.
Remember that with Spring right around the corner sessions will start to fill up the moment the weather turns warm (happens every year!), so don’t wait if you know you’d like to capture your pregnancy and newborn in the coming months. You can also come out to Babies-R-Us on Polaris Parkway on February 8th and meet me in person from 9 -1!
